Katie And Kathy's Tone Website

Hi we're here to help you understand tone better! This website is full of usefull resources that we thought would benifit you. We have defintions, examples, explantions, and games. When you are done with this site you should be an expert with the following tone words: allusive, impartial, indignant, learned, mock-heroic, moralistic, playful, pretentious, urgent, and scholarly.

For those of you who do not know what tone is, I came up with a simpler form to learn it. Instead of giving you the definition, I decided to give you an example of it. Tone is the cherry on your writing. Writing without tone can be dull, without color per say, but with tone the world goes round! Tone helps you put your point across easier. It gives you the sense of attitude. You can use happy, sad, serious, or playful tone when you are writing. It is like a bonus for your writing. I hope you understand it more now but to help you grasp its concept better we decided to dedicate ten tone words to this website!
